About Tashay Thrash

My Story

Hi, I’m Tashay Davis Thrash – an author, speaker, mentor, encouragement coach, and the founder of Uplifted & Anchored. My mission is to inspire and uplift women in their walk with Christ by providing devotionals, prayer journals, coloring books, and other faith-based resources designed to encourage and transform lives.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in corporate America, specializing in customer service, training, and process improvement. Recently, I transitioned to an IT career as a business analyst, where I continue to solve problems, mentor others, and embrace new challenges. I hold certifications in life coaching, ITIL Foundations 4, Salesforce Administrator, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, as well as a degree in Liberal Arts with a Computer Science focus.

My life is anchored in God’s promises, especially 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” This verse reminds me of God’s unfailing love and care, and my passion is to help others embrace and apply His truths to their lives.

Through Uplifted & Anchored, I hope to be a blessing to women, offering resources that draw them closer to God and encourage their hearts.

I look forward to walking alongside you as we grow in faith and grace!

Personal Life

As a proud mother of four—two biological children and two bonus children—I’ve had the joy of experiencing the ups and downs of balancing family, faith, and purpose. Now an empty nester, I share life’s adventures with my amazing and fun-loving husband, Kenneth Thrash, who bravely joined this beautiful journey when he asked me to marry him—bless his heart! Together, we call Griffin, GA, home and are savoring this new season of life.

My story is one of growth, resilience, and faith. I was born to a teen mother and raised by a single mom for many years until she married my stepdad. My grandma played a pivotal role in my upbringing, grounding me in love and faith. I have a younger brother, ten years my junior, and growing up, I often felt different—labeled as the “weirdo” and frequently misunderstood. That sense of being different followed me into adulthood, but it also shaped my empathetic and deeply feeling nature.

Life hasn’t been without struggles. I’ve battled ADHD, anxiety, and bouts of depression, and I’ve walked through the pain of unhealthy relationships. My first marriage to an addict ended in heartbreak, but God, in His grace, blessed me with a second chance at love. Kenneth is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and together we’ve navigated the joys and challenges of blending a family.

Throughout my life, I’ve been a passionate learner, a voracious reader, and a woman who feels deeply. I’m socially awkward, loud, energetic, and a bit of a nerd who loves all things technology—and above all, I love Jesus. Though I fell in love with Him as a young girl, I strayed from my faith for a season, only to return stronger and more devoted later in life.

Today, I’m passionate about Bible study and living out my faith in a way that inspires others. I have a heart for pouring into women and girls, helping them thrive spiritually and emotionally. My favorite pastimes include reading, teaching, learning, and offering encouragement. Though I’m a work in progress, my life’s experiences have fueled my desire to connect with others and remind them that they are not alone. Life is messy, but God’s grace is greater—and that truth keeps me going every day.
